So many people today feel the pressure to look young. So we loved this quote from Rosanna Arquette (who can forget her in Desperately Seeking Susan) when we found it. Proof that even our favourite actresses are doing it naturally.

Chrsitina Ricci, star of one of last years favourite TV shows, Pam Am (you have to love the era), turned heads on the red carpet at this year’s Berlinale, the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.

Her stunning make up was created by makeup artist Stefanie Willman, who is a fan of the rms beauty line of organic make up.

The look was created using some of rms beauty‘s favorite products on the actress. First Willmann blended the “un” cover-up in 22 and 33 to achieve flawless skin. She then mixed and applied smile and modest Lip2cheek shades to give Ricci’s cheeks a perfect flush.  Lastly, a dab of rapture Lip2cheek onto lips tied the whole look together.

The latest additions to the rms beauty line include the new Karma Cream Eyeshadow and a revised release of solar. The next launch is the rms beauty oil which will be coming soon - watch this space.

Although it doesn’t quite yet feel like spring is around the corner, trends in fashion and beauty for Spring/Summer 2012 are out and seem to be channeling the colour palette of one of Japan’s most prominent contemporary artists, Yayoi Kusama. While brights are bursting from every quarter (we love prints from Mary Katrantzou’s S/S 2012 collection), one of the best places to catch some colour is at the Tate Modern’s exhibition of the work of Yayoi Kusama. Well known for her repeating dot patterns and use of vivid colours, we will be one of the first queuing at the door to see her work. Lucky for us there are two exhibitions in London this year. Visit the Tate Modern until June 5th or view her new series of work at Victoria Miro until April 5th. It seems colour is everywhere - look bright!
