With the start of a New Year some of us make hopeful resolutions around the foods we eat and those we avoid. Most of us know that eating our greens is good for us, but with the trend towards Alkaline and not just green it can get confusing. We asked Naturopath Rue Down to put together a simple guide to Alkaline and Acidic foods.  There is some debate between foods and quantity to incorporate but we like to use the 80/20 ratio of alkaline to acid foods. This way we hope to ensure that our body receives the nourishment, nutrients and fuel it needs to maintain optimal health and send our energy level through the roof! Benefits can be seen in skin appearance, quality of sleep and general health.
